6th International Fair of Devices and Technologies for Pellet Industry "PELLETS-EXPO" and "BRIQUETTES-EXPO" |

On behalf of the Pomorze & Kujawy Fair Center, I have the pleasure of informing you about the 6th edition of the International Fair of Devices and Technologies for Pellet Industry "PELLETS-EXPO" which will be held on 24-26 June 2008 in Bydgoszcz at the fairground of £uczniczka hall, 59 Toruñska Str. During next edition will be held exhibition: BRIQUETTES-EXPO.
The fifth edition of the Bydgoszcz event confirmed that the topic of renewable sources of energy is interesting for many people. Devoting a specialist trade event to the fuel pellets in isolation from a number of other alternative fuels has become an excellent form of propagation of the pellets and integration of the people involved in its production and energy-related use. The unstable market combined with growing prices of fuels in Poland and in the world cause that the pellets gain more and more popularity, which was visible during the Fair.
This year the stands were presenting a wide offer of products including state-of-the-art hot water boilers, stoves, fireplaces, biomass-fired heating units, burners, devices and complete process lines for production of the pellets, sawdust briquettes and other materials, pellet producers, accessories, automatics and fittings for biomass boiler rooms, drying stoves for sawdust and other plant derivatives, chippers, crushers, etc.
During the event the visitors could also get familiar with some innovations on the market, such as a novel pellet-fired boiler presented by Lester company owned by Mr Leszek Jancza from Tarnów.
This year's exhibitors included European pellet producing machine tycoons, such as German Amandus Kahl, Italian Larus Impianti, PSystem, or Dutch CPM. However, there also appeared a Polish competitive company Mechanika Nawrocki. A good price became a priority in the production of Polish pellet-fired boilers. Such price-wise affordable and high quality boilers were presented by several Polish companies, such as: Lester, Kostrzewa, Klimosz, Falenczyk, FU-WI and Termo-Tech. They permit energy-effective and environment-friendly burning of different forms of wood biomass. The Fair was a good opportunity to talk about the possibilities of purchasing pellets or briquettes from significant manufacturers, such as: VAPO Polska, Wood Trade, Libero, Pellet-Art, Eko-Pellets, Fu-Wi, Kom-Eko, or Sylva.
A number of trade institutions and associations offered their assistance with planning, financing and promotion of renewable sources of energy. More than 65 exhibitors from Poland and other countries (such as Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Austria) presented themselves during the three days of the Fair. Both the exhibition area and the number of exhibitors rose in comparison with the last year, which means that the Fair is developing.
PELLETS-EXPO Fair is held under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Environment, the Speaker of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province, the Governor of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province, the Mayor of Bydgoszcz, the President of the Board of Baltic Energy Conservation Agency SA and the Polish Chamber of Biomass.
During this year's edition was held two conferences: domestic and foreign. On day 1 was held a conference entitled "Pellet and briquette market - possibilities of development" co-organized by Czysta Energia monthly. The aim of the conference was to set out the current state of development of this trade, to point out the possible sources of its financial support, and to encourage people to get interested in this type of activity. The growing prices of energy and the forecasted increase in the demand for electric and heat energy, which usually accompanies a growth in economy, make the way we manage the available reserves more and more significant. One of the ways of forest and agricultural waste recycling is the production of pellets and briquettes. We observe a rapid development in the production of this kind of fuels. Also, the use of the pellets on the Polish market has grown. More and more often the occupational Power engineering, obligated to produce the so-called green energy, becomes the user of these fuels. On day 2 was held a conference co-organized with Swedish Bioenergy International entitled "The Bioenergy International - Pellet Updates". Presented was held the bioenergy section from the European and even international perspective. The topics have been selected so as to introduce new perspectives of the biomass market development in our country. Representatives of many countries including Sweden, Russia, England, Italy, France was share their knowledge in order to show that the same Technologies applied in different countries may bring different results. The conference was accompanied by an interesting and lively discussion.
The Fair was visited by specialists in the thermal power industry, renewable sources of energy and wood industry, as well as investors, contractors, designers, representative of local authorities and individual customers not only from Poland but also from Belarus, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, New Zealand, Croatia, Germany, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, France, Austria and Hungary. Every visitor could easily learn about particular products and technologies. Specialist events of this kind do not attract crowds but "specific visitors" who are - as the exhibitors say - "good quality" customers.
The Free Advice Centre located on the Fair site was offered the visitors individual consultation and advice given by representatives of financial institutions (bank loans, subsidies, grants), fitter (boilers, stoves), designer of heating systems, etc. Once again, in 2008, the Judging Panel will assess the products entered for the fair contest; the best ones will be honoured with prizes and distinctions of the Organizer, BAPE S.A, Czysta Energia monthly and the Polish Chamber of Biomass.
The interest in biomass does not decline - it draws attention of both its producers (energetic plant growers), biomass fuel producers (chips, briquettes, pellets) and authors of relevant technologies and systems. Concern for clean environment in combination with growing prices of fossil fuels make people interested in fuels which are more environment-friendly and more attractive price-wise. One of the best substitute for coal, fuel oil and gas is the pellets. Wood pellets allow to reduce heating costs. It is more and more willingly used not only by institutions, but also individual recipients in both new and modernized buildings. The PELLETS-EXPO Fair promotes up-to-date, environment-friendly and cost-effective fuels and devices for their production and burning. It is necessary to promote environment-friendly and alternative technologies of the future.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren!

Im Namen des Messezentrums für Kujawien und Pommern habe ich die Ehre, Sie über die 6. Internationale Messe von Anlagen, Technologien zur Erzeugung und Anwendung von Pellets "PELLETS-EXPO" zu informieren, die am 24-26. Juni 2008 in Bydgoszcz, Halle £uczniczka, ul. Toruñska 59 stattfindet.
Das Interesse an der Biomasse wird nicht schwächer - dafür interessieren sich sowohl ihre Hersteller (Besitzer von Plantagen der Energiepflanzen) sowie Hersteller von Brennstoff aus Biomasse (Holzschnitzel, Briketts, Pellets), sowie Erfinder von Technologien und Installationen. Sorge um saubere Umwelt sowie wachsende Preise von fossilen Brennstoffen neigen immer öfter dazu, sich für umweltfreundlichere und ökonomisch attraktivere Brennstoffe zu interessieren. Vierte Edition der Veranstaltung in Bydgoszcz bestätigte, dass es immer mehr Menschen gibt, die an der Thematik der erneuerbaren Energiequellen interessiert sind.
Während der drei Messetagen haben ihr Angebot über 65 Aussteller aus In- und Ausland präsentiert. Auf den Ausstellungsständen wurde ein größeres und umfangreicheres Angebot von Einrichtungen sowie kompletten technologischen Linien zur Herstellung von Pellets, Briketts aus Sägespänen und anderen Rohstoffen, von modernen Heizkesseln, Kaminen, Körben, Brennern, Automatik und Armatur für Kesselräume für Biomasse, Trocknereien, Zerkleinerungsmaschinen und Pelletsfabriken dargestellt. Nächste Edition der Messe bildet die Gelegenheit zum Treffen von Herstellern und Verteilern sowie Abnehmern der Branche von erneuerbaren Energiequellen, zum gegenseitigen Austausch von Erfahrungen und Errungenschaften sowie zur Anknüpfung von neuen Kontakten und Erhaltung der schon bestehenden Kontakte.
Wir geben uns Mühe, damit das feste Element jeder Messe das umfangreiche Programm der begleitenden Veranstaltungen/ Konferenzen, Präsentationen, Schauen, Wettbewerbe ist. Im Jahre 2008 planen wir ein umfangreiches Programm von Konferenzen, die die Messe begleiten werden.
Während der diesjährigen Edition der Messe fanden zwei Konferenzen statt - inländische und ausländische, mit der simultanen Übersetzung in der englischen Sprache. Am ersten Tag der Messe, am 26. Juni, fand die Konferenz unter dem Titel "Pellet- und Brikettmarkt - Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten" statt, organisiert zusammen mit Czysta Energia. Die Konferenz wurde von Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski - Unterstaatssekretär im Ministerium für Landwirtschaft und Dorfentwicklung geöffnet, der das Eröffnungsthema bezüglich der Unterstützung der Entwicklung von erneuerbaren Energiequellen aus den Mitteln der EU darstellte. Ziel der Konferenz war die Darstellung vom aktuellen Stand der Entwicklung dieser Branche, Hinweis darauf, aus welchen Mitteln sie die finanzielle Unterstützung erlangen kann, sowie Anregung, sich mit dieser Art von Tätigkeiten zu interessieren. Wachsende Energiepreise, sowie prognostizierter dem wirtschaftlichen Wachstum begleitender erhöhter Bedarf für Elektroenergie und Wärmeenergie verursachen, dass die Art und Weise, wie wir mit den zugänglichen Beständen wirtschaften, immer mehr von Bedeutung wird. Eine der Methoden der Wirtschaftung mit Waldmüll sowie mit Landwirtschaftsabfällen ist die Herstellung von Pellets und Briketts. Immer öfter ist die Berufsenergetik, verpflichtet zur Herstellung von der sog. grünen Energie, auch Abnehmer von diesem Brennstoff. Der Eintritt auf die Konferenz am ersten Tag war unentgeltlich.
Am zweiten Tag der Messe, am 27. Juni, fand die Konferenz, organisiert zusammen mit der schwedischen Firma Bioenergy International unter dem Titel "Bioenergy International - Aktualitäten über Pellets" statt. Präsentiert wurde der Bioenergiesektor aus der europäischen Perspektive. Die Thematik wurde so gewählt, so dass sie neue Entwicklungsperspektiven bei der Entwicklung vom Biomassemarkt in unserem Land einbringt. Mit ihrem Wissen teilten sich Vertreter unter anderem aus Schweden, Italien, Frankreich, Deutschland, um zu zeigen, dass die gleichen Technologien, angewandt in verschiedenen Ländern, verschiedene Resultate haben können. Während der Konferenz wurden Realien aus verschiedenen Ländern sowie ihre bisherige Erfahrungen, Schlussfolgerungen dargestellt, die bestimmt viele an dieser Thematik interessierten Menschen angeregt haben und die Überzeugung stärkten, dass die Biomasse Zukunft ist. Während der Konferenz ergab sich interessante lebhafte Diskussion.
Das Holzgranulat bildet einen hervorragenden Brennstoff, der sich gut für Anwendung in den Heizinstallationen sowie in Wärmesystemen eignet. Er wird immer öfter von den Institutionen und individuellen Abnehmern in den neu gebauten Objekten und in den modernisierten Objekten angewendet. Unter den Ausstellern und Besuchern waren die Beurteilungen überwiegend, dass die Messe PELLETS-EXPO, die moderne ökologische und ökonomische Brennstoffe fördert, notwendig ist, sowie das Propagieren in der Gesellschaft von ökologischen, alternativen und zukünftigen Technologien. Wir laden Sie herzlich ein, sich auszustellen, Treffen während der Veranstaltung zu organisieren, Ihre Firma auf dem Messe-Gelände und im Messekatalog zu fördern und zu werben, die Konferenzen finanziell zu unterstützen usw. - und sich auf diese Weise Zugang zu zahlreichen und gleichzeitig selektierten Abnehmergruppe zu schaffen.
Wir werden uns freuen, Sie als Aussteller, Besucher oder Konferenzteilnehmer während der Messe PELLETS-EXPO 2008 begrüßen zu dürfen.
